The library boasts a total collection of 7,285 books with 2,035 unique titles, alongside two newspapers—one in English and one in Bengali—and seven journals/magazines. It is an automated library powered by the Koha Integrated Library Management System (ILMS), Version 23.11.08, ensuring a seamless online book issuance process.
Spread across 1,900 sq. ft., the library is designed to provide a comprehensive and comfortable learning environment. It features dedicated reading rooms for teachers and students, a newspaper zone, and an E-Zone, where users can access a wealth of e-resources through platforms like NLIST and NDLI, in addition to open-access resources and internet browsing facilities tailored to varied study needs.
The library is systematically organized into various sections, including a circulation counter, stack room, processing room, librarian’s room, E-Zone, newspaper zone, OPAC area (for searching the library catalogue), and a journal section. It also provides students with syllabi and question papers, ensuring they have access to essential academic materials.
With its state-of-the-art facilities and diverse resources, the library of Munshi Premchand Mahavidyalaya continues to be a cornerstone of knowledge and academic excellence for the institution.

Library Timings:
- Monday to Friday 10:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Saturday 10:30 am to 4:00 pm
The Library is kept open throughout the year except on public holidays and vacations.
