Education is a continuous journey that spans the entirety of our lives, beginning the moment we are born. It is an enduring process of growth and discovery, enabling us to illuminate our minds and enrich our lives. Through education, individuals acquire wisdom and knowledge, earning them respect and recognition in society. Learning transcends boundaries of time, place, and age; it can occur anywhere and at any moment for those who seek it with determination. The Department of Education at Munshi Premchand Mahavidyalaya is staffed with skilled and dedicated faculty members. It offers both undergraduate Honours and program courses in education. Since its inception in 2011, the college has been committed to fostering academic excellence. Education, initially introduced as a general course, has expanded to include Honours-level offerings, reflecting its growing importance and popularity among students. Each semester accommodates 60 students, and many graduates of the department go on to pursue postgraduate studies in prestigious state and central universities.

The program provides a comprehensive understanding of education and equips students with the tools needed for personal and professional growth. It covers core areas such as Educational Philosophy, the Sociological Foundations of Education, Advanced Educational Psychology, Educational Planning and Administration, Value Education, Research Methodology, and Guidance and Counselling. These subjects are designed to foster intellectual and emotional development while offering practical exposure and experiential learning opportunities.

The curriculum emphasises holistic development, addressing the physical, mental, social, and emotional aspects of students. It also paves the way for promising career prospects, empowering graduates to become effective educators and capable leaders in the field of education.
