Year of Establishment
The Department of Political Science at Munshi Premchand Mahavidyalaya began its operations in the academic year 2013-14. Since its establishment, the department has been dedicated to teaching and research in key areas such as political philosophy, modern political history, Indian government and politics, International Relations, and Political Sociology. It promotes the exploration of essential values like social justice, secularism, and democracy, while examining various approaches to societal issues. With this in mind, the department advocates for an interdisciplinary approach to knowledge, fostering a broad understanding of political and social dynamics.
In a country like India, which is the largest democracy in the world, it is crucial to support robust learning, research, and knowledge systems across various democratic domains.
