Mission and Vision
The department seeks to offer holistic education in history utilising the prescribed syllabus with the following vision:
- To help students understand and appreciate the significance of history in shaping our lives and society, making history accessible and interesting to everyone.
- To provide affordable quality education, while equipping students with knowledge and skills in their chosen stream, inculcate values, identify hidden talents, provide opportunities for students to realise their full potential, and thus shape them into future leaders, entrepreneurs, and above all good human beings.
- To intellectually instil in the students the immense importance of history and also to invoke their critical thinking, public speaking, and all-round holistic skills.
